Oil contamination is the number one cause of bearing damage that leads to premature replacement and costly down time on critical equipment such as turbines and heavy-duty drives. The rolling-element bearings reach the fatigue limits early because of contamination that causes wear or spalling failure far earlier than the expected duty cycle.
The harmful effects of particulate and moisture contamination in hydraulic and lubrication oils have been well known to the industries and maintaining absolute fluid cleanliness, end-users can dramatically increase the life of critical wear components on rotational equipment, minimizing downtime and maximizing profitability.
Kanooz offers full range of Lube Oil system management that include high velocity flushing, inline filtration, vacuum dehydration, Onsite Laser Particle Count testing, cleaning & revamping of lube oil systems, disposal of spent oil etc. using state of the art filtration and high flow flushing pumps ranging from 1000 to 2000 gpm flow. These high flow systems are capable of completing the flushing & filtration works much faster than traditional flushing equipment.
The high flow filtration system filters the oil to meet or exceed new oil cleanliness specifications. The system is designed to remove particulate contamination from a wide variety of oils and it is typically equipped with high-efficiency 2.5-micron filter elements from pleated micro glass media rated Beta (c) ≥ 200 per ISO 4572 meaning that 99.5% of all particles 2.5 -Micron and larger are removed from circulating lube oil of rotating equipment such as turbines & compressors etc. The units are capable of filtering oil upto particle count as low as NAS 3 specifications.
